Health Centre
The Health Centre at Morley Senior High School is staffed by a professionally trained Community Health Nurse.
Our Nurse Mr Ray Oliver is appointed to the school by the Department of Health and co-funded by the Department of Education and Training.
The school health centre is an easy access point for students with health related concerns, providing information, advice and support. Staff promote the development of knowledge, skills and behaviour, and encourage the students to deal effectively with their health issues.
The school health service is also able to help individual students with information, guidance and support regarding a range of issues that may includ:
- Coping with illness
- Feeling anxious, stressed or unhappy
- Healthy weight
- Loss and grief
- Relationships
- And many other adolescene health concerns
The Health centre is open, free of charge, to all students and staff of Morley Senior High School.
